The majority seem crazy to me, especially when Eichel has given them really no room to work with voicing his displeasure publicly (however they do contend its very unrealistic any team would do this)

It's complete idiocy.
There is some sort of aura around Eichel that makes people think he's McDavid or Crosby in his prime.
Eichel is a really good and young 1C, but he has the 18th highest point per game average in the league since he came in. He is not even a top 5 C in the league IMO, probably right around 8 to 10.
Nobody is going to trade two 1st line players plus for him, that'd be stupid. Especially when those 1st line players are 25 and under.
