Looking for high end prospects at or near AHL level. Basically trading players now for prospect ideally becoming identical player a year or two down the road. Can balance out value with boom/bust player or picks if prospect is risky.
Can take on slightly lesser or ancient UFA one year player to balance salaries if necessary.
