3. Trade Ryan for picks (Buffalo maybe? Lack of good quality C's and right hand shots, lots of cap space)
Sign Hall - 7 x $8 million
Sign Vatanen - 5 x $5 million
Sign Dell - 1 x $1.5 million
Sign Mangi - 2 x $2 million
Sign Kylington to QO
Sign Gawdin to QO
Sign Rinaldo and Stone to $750k (league minimum)
Don't qualify Janko, re-sign him to $850k
Bring in vets like Ennis, Brassard, etc on PTOs (both guys had 30+ points last season still)
J. Gaudreau - Sean Monahan - Matthew Tkachuk
Taylor Hall - Dillon Dube - Elias Lindholm <- seems weird but give Dube a shot with two strong wingers, one of them a part time C
A. Lafreniere - Mikael Backlund - Andrew Mangiapane
Milan Lucic - Mark Jankowski - Matthew Phillips <- maybe a PTO wins the 4th line C spot
Rinaldo, Gawdin
Mark Giordano - Rasmus Andersson
Noah Hanifin - Sami Vatanen
Jusso Valimaki - Oliver Kylington
Michael Stone
David Rittich
Aaron Dell
$502k cap space left, pretty tight
C is a little scary, but Dube is smart, fast and skilled and can be sheltered with Lindholm on his wing and Backlund spelling him out from time to time. The wings are LOADED.
If after next season you don't think Johnny will re-sign, deal him before his NTC kicks in and hopefully he's just had another 99 point season.

I am not salivating at the lineup, I am salivating at the thought of FINALLY having a PP2 that could work.
I also would rather re-sign Brodie at a 5 x 5 than Vatanen.
PP1
Gaudreau - Monahan - Tkachuk
Giordano - Lindholm
Laf - Backlund - Hall
Hanifin - Andersson
With Ryan, Lucic, Kylington getting some time in if possible.
