Wow.

Yeah I know a guy in his late 40s who started having sex with his 19 year old babysitter when he was 12. When he was a teen he looked at it in the stereotypical way, as some kind of fortunate experience. As he got older he realized it was actually quite damaging. He refuses to get help.

I’m sure that experience is not the cause of all of his misfortunes with women and life, but the fact that he still remembers it so clearly and dwells on it as a negative thing says something.
