That article mentions the 16 year old was convicted after the body cam video was played in court. Like I get how the police seem to get away with assaults but how the hell is there a charge of assaulting an officer, let alone a conviction with that evidence? I’m really hoping he had a Lionel Hutz as a lawyer and this wasn’t a case of the prosecution and judge getting in on the trumped up charge. Very scary the only thing holding the legal system accountable seems to be social media videos.
