Makes me sad every time I see a press conference of his that he has no interest in Federal politics. Well spoken. Explains without talking down (well except
to Trump)... and that is a skill. A major skill that is in general lacking in Science and a reason why people often ignore the science.
Just once I’d like to see “for the three month period from the start of March to end of May we would expect 680,000 deaths for all causes. Instead we saw 802,000. This shows the impact of Covid which is the only new disease in town.”
That wee little bit of context is much more persuasive than simply saying 122,000 deaths from covid and then everyone jumps in with but I knew a person who died of cancer and they put it down as Covid! Or the hospital Is saying covid to get money! Add that little bit of context around it and all that BS Argument stuff just falls apart.
Note: I can’t remember the true numbers but pretty sure 122k is correct.
