It sucks seeing most of the team's rivals do things properly. I mean the nucks are still junk and run poorly IMO but they have a few really nice pieces. One of the main issues with the Flames is that it seems the team, and fans, fall in love with certain players and seem to care more about them than the team. I really think that's a recipe for disaster and the fact that the team has been so average at best for so long kinda shows it. The team needs to capitalize on some players like Gio, Backlund, Johnny and whoever else they think won't be here for the long haul. I think they really missed an opportunity to cash in on trading guys like Brodie and Hamonic as they'll likely walk and the team will have nothing to show for it.
