C'mon now. Dion was worshipped by some because of his early success. If his performance was as dissected as much as Bouwmeester or Hamilton he'd of been the Flames whipping boy for most of his tenure. I clearly remember how many of us (myself included) ignored his defensive gaffes or played them off as nothing more then a young superstar learning the ropes. The amount of excuses thrown his way early on was only matched by the amount of brain dead decisions he consistently made out on the ice. Guy was far below what Bouwmeester, Hamilton, Housley were, wasn't ever close.
