Thanks for the feedback.

After looking a little closer, I can see the chain is slipping on a cog tooth that is not very well aligned with the previous one- chain misses the tooth on most passes- wouldn’t necessarily say the tooth is bent, but certainly not in line with the previous one. Not sure not great tooth alignment is common with a lower quality cassette, possible damage, or normal enough and still comes down to adjustment?
