Ya but while I think they consider the age gap in their rankings I believe that might actually hurt Byfields rankings more than help it. I believe a lot of rankings are based on who would have the most immediate impact in the NHL which both Laf and Stützle would, based on age difference and pro readiness from playing in Europe.
Thats the only reason I can come up with for a 6'5 215lb C who produced more than 99% of draft year players over the last decade to not be talked about as at the least a sure fire #2 pick with the potentially to maybe even go #1.
But here we are with half the rankings having essentially two LW ahead of him (one of whom projects to be a centre at least). Thats why I think Byfield is moving down despite the potential for huge growth over the next year
