What’s interesting about the Supreme Court is that Justices become more liberal and conservative based on who else is on the court.
It would be interesting to read through the reasoning of Roberts dissent in the Texas case which also limited abortions via various measures vs his majority vote in this one.

The recent set of court rulings which have included both Gorsuch and Roberts siding with the liberal side of the court across a wide range cases gives hope that the Supreme Court is still upholding its duty.
Edit: did a little more reading and Roberts uses the argument that the Supreme Court already decided the Texas case and this case isn’t any different so the precedent of the court stands. That is some good jurisprudence.
