What I don't understand, and I'd really like someone to explain this to me, is how are the police so effing stupid? They know there's an intense amount of international attention currently being given to excessive use of force by American police departments, so what would possibly make them think it's a good idea to equip their riot gear and act like a bunch of fascist goons by breaking up a peaceful concert? Were they planning to lie about it and say that it was an unlawful violent riot? The fact they don't care is all the more reason to be terrified. If this is what they are willing to do when the whole world is watching, what will they do when the world moves on.
