With the Ludacris depth the Flames have at LW taking Lafreniere is fin eif you can maximize an asset management move. Kids going to be your 2nd line LW for at least 2 seasons. Ample space to groom him for top line superstar stuff.
Like I mentioned earlier, it makes moving Gaurdeau an super easy pill to swallow instead of people gnashing their teeth worried they won't find a replacement. Plus the Hall thing on top of all that.
