Not Tkachuk. You do what you have to to get him locked up long term.
He's what you hope and pray any of your pile of prospects turns into.
Hes going to be a player that you win with for a number of years. You don't toss that away for even good magic beans just because you're worried about him wanting to go home. Most players are not playing where they're from, and that concern is being way overblown.
At some point the Flames will have to pay a player 10M to nail down their core. I dont have an issue with the first being Matthew.
