Jean Grey vs Captain Marvel is the most interesting match up in this round.

Jean Greys mind Control powers still easily take over Captain Marvel.

We agreed at the start of this poll that Jean Grey would not be the Phoenix in this match up because she was over powered. However I think it’s important to note that Jean Grey without Phoenix powers forced the Phoenix to resurrect her from the dead against the Phoenix’s will.

So Jean Grey has already controlled and beaten someone 1 v 1 that we deemed too powerful to conclude in this bracket.

Therefore Jean Grey mind controls Captain Marvel and wins easily.
