I've tied nooses just for fun, not recently, but certainly when I was younger. It's a fun knot and they're hard enough to do that you can impress other boys and they'll usually want to learn how to tie it too.

Aren't NASCAR teams constantly traveling? It seems really unlikely that whoever tied the knot is actually from Alabama.
