I never felt it was fair to single out Hamilton for this when it has been a Flames hallmark since 2006. As soon as they face a bad break or adversity they fold like a cheap suit. Whether it's late in the season and playoff races are intensifying or in the playoffs where it comes down to which team wants it more, they more than not always come up short. It's not like Hamilton's supposed attitude of not wanting to win bad rubbed off on the Hurricanes who have done quite well since his acquisition.
