I also voted for Mullen. But between him and Fleury it almost is a coin flip.
His 110 point 1989 season is the second highest total in franchise history, and he also had two other 40 goal seasons plus the 36 goals in 1990. To me it was the additions of him and Gary Suter that really closed the gap on the Oilers for the Flames. Joel Otto was the first step, Suter as a rookie in 85-86 seemed to be a second step, Vernon being able to give the team better goaltending was another one, and Mullen re-invigorated the team up front to transition the forward ranks to move on form the early 80's guys to the guys who would eventually lead the team to the cup.
But admittedly...I sort of voted before thinking enough to realize Fleury was still on the list. Given a do over, would vote Theo.
