There doesn’t need to be an interview process. There’s some guy sitting in his ranch in Viking that would love to bring the cup back to Alberta.
An elite coach who wants to be here. I’m tired of the “this isn’t a Darryl type team”. The guy knows how to coach, he knows how to properly use and motivate players. He isn’t just going to drive Gaudreau or Monahan away because they aren’t “his type”. This is the guy who as GM acquired high skilled “soft” players like Tanguay, Huselius, Cammalleri, Reinprecht and got the best out of them.
It’s about as easy a decision for Tre to make. Sometimes the easy decision is the right decision.
