I agree with lots on this board in saying "he's not a point producer" or ever be a top 6

I agree with everyone who is saying "give him a chance to have the same solid line"

My thoughts:
1: I like Bennett
2: I Like his tenasity
3: He can stick handle the puck
4: He can skate
5: He can hit
6: He can fight

I think every team would be licking their chops to get him for a playoff run if they could.

Sam Bennett if given the chance can likely produce 50-60 points in my mind.

Problem A - Whole flames team has this - Head Coaches - Never mind the individual head coach and their strategy, the Flames coaches every friggen year or two and all of them have different styles.

I couldn't imagine where this team could be if we had just one coach for 6 or 7 years.

Well minus Gully, i'd not want this team under him for that long.
Im even willing to give Ward a chance, but stop changing coaches.

Problem B - Bennett gets bounced around like a utility player and while he is adjusting his game to that, it is not who he was when he was young. Give him solid players and he will look like Playoff Bennett more often then not.

I say start him with Gaudreau and Lindy for the entire game 1 and go from there.

His tenacity alone made a difference when they started to use him in the Colorado Series, unfortionetly it takes more then 2-3 players to win in playoffs.

Bennett will never be the defensive player that Backlund is but he is the Scrappy player we need for any playoffs.

My thoughts
