Brodie signed his $4.65m deal when he was a 40+ point dman, he hasn't sniffed those numbers in 4 years and his defensive game also suffered with big gaffs at the wrong time, he was solid after his "event" this year but still only on pace for 25 pts.
I'm not seeing a bunch of teams lining up to sign him with a raise. I think he'll have to take a cut in the range of 4 X $4m to stay with the flames
