how long are you expecting to run max settings? 1 year? 2 years? what types of games are you expecting to play? what is an acceptable frame rate?
how long are you going to hold onto the computer before upgrading? are you going to upgrade or just replace wholesale?
some framerates are unrealistic considering the game / game engine.
