Check this out. It's my buddy Christian. Over the past few years he's been revolutionized biking for disabled people. He broke his back 20 years ago and has always been searching for a way to get back at it.

He's a pretty incredible guy. I volunteer my time to help him build...I do it more for me though. Being around him and his family is good for my soul.
They also worked with a special effects company to turn one of these into a speeder bike. That was a pretty cool experience. I only got to help a little bit but to see the process was pretty cool. It was a charity event and it was given to a kid who is a huge star wars fan.

Anyways, out of his house here in Calgary, these bikes are being built and getting shipped around the world. It's pretty remarkable. We ran into a couple mountain biking at the nordic centre last year. The husband was in a Bowhead, and she was on her mountain bike. She was more pumped about it than he was. Don't get me wrong, he was excited, but to talk to her and hear her say that she has her husband back was pretty emotional. He broke his back a couple of years ago, and this has allowed him to be on the trail again.
