Protesting peacefully while social distancing = good.
Anything beyond that = bad.
Police allowing peaceful protests with social distancing = good.
Police not allowing this or using excessive force = bad.
We're lucky that things haven't gotten too crazy in Indiana all things considered.
I don't think governments should reward riots that involve criminal activities.
I also don't think governments should limit or ignore peaceful protests.
Perhaps state criminal codes should be amended to add culpability for crimes that are racially-motivated (if they don't already). Local police departments should probably update policies and procedures to prevent deaths like this down the line.
