There were definitely some issues with the Pittsburgh protest as well, mostly vandalism (I posted a video of a white kid destroying a police vehicle while the protesters around him tried to stop him), and the vandalism that ended up on the Lemieux statue outside of PPG Paints Arena matched that which was on a war memorial earlier this week on Memorial Day.

The actual people protesting the police brutality seemed to not be the ones inciting any chaos here.

Also I spent all day today managing phone calls with coworkers and my boss since we're finally reopening this coming week after 2.5 months closed, so I was completely unaware what was happening. I picked up dinner from a restaurant less than a mile from where the worst of the Pittsburgh chaos happened. I saw a single group of about 40 protesters, all calmly walking down the street with signs.

It wasn't until I got home that I realized anything had happened. So it doesn't seem like our event turned out like the others.
