charcuterie boards and beverages
Fruit on a charcuterie board helps cleanse the palette so that makes sense to me. It's intended to be eaten at separate bites so you dont mix fruits with savory. Shakes, mixes, sodas were intended to be sweet so fruits would also make sense there too
Save the fruit for dessert a snack. You wouldnt want to eat ice cream for dinner as that's something kids would want to do. But I would assume most of you are adults and are beyond having sweets and candy at the dinner table
