They sell many different type of step up, step down, and various things to go between tile or hardwood/carpet and Hardwood/tile. Pretty much each type of actual hardwood has thier own version of each stepup/down. What you will need will depend on the height difference caused by thickness of underlay etc
Check Rona or Home Depot. Usually in the same isle that has the hardwood.
