Very true. No matter male or female, there are some great places to meet people. It's especially great to meet someone who is participating/interested in something you are. For example, I met a lot of great people through playing organized soccer, attending photography workshops, and even university. The nice thing is you get to see a person in their true form. It's not the facade of a bar. Best of all, you'll find you have things in common and it'll make conversation much easier.
