It seems there will be some type of training camp but you'd have to think how players have maintained fitness over the past months will be an important factor.
Flames have been one of the healthiest teams in the league so no big advantage for us in terms of getting injured players back.
But with a little training camp, it would be the perfect time to hire the coach you want. Is there an established coach who lives in Alberta who could be coaxed into coming back for one more shot at glory? You know the kind of coach who is real hard on his guys, someone with a championship pedigree who has taken an 8 seed to playoff glory?
