Agreed, and that's the position I voted from (sirloin, btw).

Average for average, a crappy, over-cooked sirloin is just as inedible as a crappy, frozen patty-turned-cardboard-puck burger, so instead it's better to compare ideals. The advantage that your average burger has is that it can hide behind, or be compensated by toppings, condiments and even the bun... Unless you're some sort of heathen, a steak has nothing to hide behind.

I love me a great burger, but I love even more a great sirloin steak.
