BBQ is a deep hole, with plenty of geographical differences from meat to sauces. I don’t think anyone can come to single winner as it is too complex a cuisine.
I have seen Georgia boys travel to Texas for Brisket for example. The sauces and style just do not exist in every location. Hence why I love platers. Brisket, Pulled Pork, Turkey (I like chicken myself), Hot Link, Ribs and a loaf of white bread with sauces are the winner here. Oh and Burbon lots and lots of Burbon.
