Get an old vacuum and put it at the edge of your lawn. Perhaps a motion detector that will turn it on. It will stop the peeing but start the barking.

Maybe look into a pet skunk that you can put in a cage at the edge of the lawn. Or maybe just put up a sign saying 'Caution. Skunk in area.' That will keep them away from your sidewalk completely.

I used a product called plantskyd in the rocks around my lawn in order to deter critters and mice. I don't think it will affect your lawn. It doesn't smell that great. Perhaps moth balls or something similar would work too.
