I don't think it was "struggling to score" as much as Team Canada played a defensive game that was more about snuffing out the other team's chances than taking risks of their own. Absolutely dominant hockey, no question, but horrendously boring to watch. That gold medal game against Sweden was one of the most boring games I can recall ever witnessing.
