If you assume for a moment that suicides are done with legally acquired firearms and accept that 30% of homicides are legal guns you get about 600 or so deaths a year from legal weapons.
Here are some US stats but let’s apply them to Canada where we have about 2000 car deaths each year.

So 26% involve speeding - so 500 deaths
29% involve alcohol so around 600 deaths
Don’t forget there is significant overlap between the two
So while my numbers here are pretty rough they aren’t significantly bigger than 2.
