I'm not saying you're necessarily wrong, but it depends on the type of testing they have, how accurate it is and how fast it returns results.
If 1 player tests positive, is then isolated and not allowed into the same facilities as the rest of the team, they're not going to infect the rest of the team.
If pre game testing is 100% accurate and instant, you could test everyone before they enter an arena and are in any contact with others.
