What do you mean ride through? If one or two players test positive you have to shut down/isolate the whole team, this just happened in the German league, even before they started the season.
Basically, a team that stays clean can win the cup by staying healthy while all the other teams get sick. I think you have to have two teams and 40 players ready to go. One team goes down, you plug in the other team. I seem to remember the NFL using replacement teams once.
It’s interesting talking about it, no way it happens though.
