Thought I'd continue, for some reason I'm really restless tonight.

Season 4 Battle Lines

We start heading into the height of the Clone Wars and start to see the real cracks develop in the Republic. The galaxy continues to plummet into darkness as Darth Sidious' plans take shape and yet are threatened.

The first arc takes place on Mon Cala, This is kind of cool thing because the entire thing takes place under water. We also get introduced to Ackbar. This is a fight between the two inhabitants of Mon Cala the delicious Mon Calamari and the Quarrens. The Separatists are ruthlessly using the Quarren in this civil war. We meet a frightening Sep Leader in the form of Tamsan and his end is a salute to Jaws.

The next major arc is the Umbara arc and its a must watch, especially if you want to understand why some Clone Troopers didn't mind order 66. This was a beautiful and brutal 4 part story that takes place on Umbara a world of eternal darkness and a death trap. The premise is that Anakin is called back to Coruscant by the Supreme Chanceller and command of the 501st is turned over the Jedi Master Pong Krell a brutal general who doesn't view the Clones in the same way as Obi and Anakin. He views them as disposable and racks up a major body count. In the end he orders the Clones to be executed and then sets up a battle that results in clones murdering clones. Its a heart wrenching reveal and the Clones take action into their own hand. we find out that the Jedi aren't infalable as Krell when confronted states, in one of the most horrify and revealing lines in the series.

Spoiler!

Immediately after Umbara the Republic sends Anakin, Rex and Obi-Wan to infiltrate the great slaver empire on Zygaria to prevent them from joining the separatists. There Anakin is forced to face his past as a slaver and barely controls his hatred and anger. Obi-Wan is broken and in the end
Spoiler!

This whole season is a lot of arcs. We move on to the Jedi council faking Obi-Wans death so he can infiltrated the underworld who are plotting to kidnap or kill the Supreme Chanceller. The problem is that while the plan works well with Obi-Wan being alterered to look like a captured mercenary. Anakin enraged and seeking revenge for his masters death pursues Obi-Wan. At the end of this arc you can see that Anakin is becoming more and more distrustful of the Jedi Council and Obi-Wan himself.

The last arc concerns Savage Opress hunting down Maul and returning him to Dathomir for heeling. Once awaked Maul is obessed with revenge against Obi-Wan and declares himself the Master and Opress as his apprentice and goes on a reign of terror through the underworld to draw OBi-Wan out

Season 5

The first arc of season 5 is a mainly Ashoka arc as she leads a resistance on the planet of Alderaan. Its hear that we meet Saw and his sister Steela. Ashoka grows through tragedy and matures and at the same time flirts with falling in love with Lux Bonteri

Near the end of the season we get to a hugely important arc which takes place on Mandalore as Maul and Opress make an alliance with Death Watch who with the help of the criminal underworld over throw Satine. Obi-Wan comes to the rescue and Maul enacts a brutal act of revenge on Obi-Wan. At the same time Maul has attracted the attention of his former master and we get one of the most epic and awesome duels in the series. At the same time Maul shifts from a revenge based monster to a more tragic figure.

The last Arc I believe tips Anakin away from the Jedi Council as Ashoka is accused of a crime and goes on the run to clear her name. This leads to the return of Ventress and we learn that all is not as it should be in the Jedi Council. The end of this and at the time the series was tragic and heartbreaking and alters the lives of Anakin and Ashoka

Season 6 - The lost missions

These were really stories that Filoni had written but never made. But when they made them they upped the animation and production quality.

The first arc starts out with a Clone Trooper brutally murdering a Jedi General. This leads 5's to investigate this and we first learn about the inhibitor chips in the Clone Troopers heads. This is a combination of a great detective story with a lot of intrigue. We learn that the plan by Sidious is fully in place and he has a lot of help.

the other arc not as much must see as interesting in a lore sense. Yoda begins to hear the voice of Qui-gon talking to him. The Jedi think he's cracked up but Yoda escapes their custody and goes on a quest to understand the concept of eternal life for a Jedi. From a story telling sense its a bit weird and trippy. However we do get Darth Bane reintroduced into Canon and see an inevitable confrontation between the Jedi and the Sith.

Again there are other arcs and individual stories that were really well done and amazing. Anything to do with Death Watch and Mandolore has a cool factor of 10 and we meet Bo Katan which is important.

Anyways. For those of you watching, enjoy the end of the series on Monday and to sound completely cheesy

May the 4th be with you.
