I'm not sure what being a father is like so I'm not going to try and pretend to know what your going through here. But I think I'm right when I guess that being a parent is both admirable and a character building experience. It's something that lasts a lifetime and I'm going to take a guess and say your kid is probably the most important thing/person in your life to you. Some people aren't able to have kids. I would say they probably wish to even have just an hour of what that feeling might be like to wake up and know you have a gigantic responsibility of raising a capable and genuine human being.

Plus, the more you have, the less work you have to do. That's what my dad always used to say...

"Go do the dishes."
"No I don't want to."
"Well that's why I brought you into the world in the first place, so I don't care whether you want to or not".

Just kidding. Well I think he was at least.
