From what I understand, quite a few people still get a traditional BBQ, but also love getting something else on the side for some added levels of BBQ awesome.
Honestly, I did think about this. However, I think the convenience of propane, the fact its what I'm used to, and the quick start time, cleaner/less messy aspect are still what I'm holding on to. That said, I wouldn't be opposed to picking up a charcoal BBQ down the road to experiment with.

Right now, it's the go with what you know.
