interesting list- some famous goalies who weren't good as Flames (Cujo, Fuhr etc. pass)

I don't really have much fond to say about any of the recent era- although Ramo was better than many recently

Tabby will have his supporters perhaps

To me this comes down (and its not that close) to Wamsley and Lemelin- although they didn't overlap in Calgary over their careers they were pretty much exact contemporaries, they were often parts of solid goalie tandems (Wamsley in several stops including Calgary), Lemelin in Boston, but Reggie was the man in Calgary for several years before losing his job to Vernon in 86. by many metrics he is the number 3 Calgary Flames goalie behind the big 2. played in an era where the Flames players lived in normal houses in normal neighbourhoods and he happened to live close to my buddy for a while- that was always fun.

Wamsley though does deserve some kind words. the Hull trade is infamous but both parts of the deal really helped us. Wamsley took some of the load off of Vernon, and they helped backstop a fairly tight defensive group during the 89 run
