Personally, I think the Atlanta Flames days are part of the storied history of the franchise. I find it disappointing that others want to divorce themselves from the origins of the Flames. The very name of the team comes from Atlanta history and not from Calgary.

Fair ... didn't say Calgary in the title.
But I think it's pretty safe to say that at best there are a handful of people on this site that have ever watched an Atlanta Flames game live, or were an Atlanta Flames fan before the team moved to Calgary.
And take it from the guy putting these up every day, avoiding 8 years of history that would be completely overlooked by 99% of the people voting is a time saver!
