27 is a really tricky number

my gut going into this was Tonelli versus Hamilton, may need to add Beers to this discussion

Savard- yes Button and Gilbert blew it but he was a dork here too. no
Vail- I am willing to give Atlanta history some consieration but more in a tiebreak type situation. only one real season in Calgary so no
MacLellan- cup names always deserve a review but don't think his tenure was worthy

Tonelli- very famous acquistion (along with Mullen) led fans to believe we really have a team on our hands. Had a good playoff run then only here for 2 years, the latter of which was a bit of a disappointment before he rebounded in LA

Hamilton- polarizing I guess. both came and left in big deals. Quirky I suppose? I always liked him, contributed well in the community. a very good player, although possibly leaves you wanting more

Beers- the wildcard, had a longer tenure than most, a few big scoring seasons (admittedly in a high scoring era) but wasn't really viewed in the same stratosphere as Mullen when traded- that was a total steal

still thinking, but I think I know where I am going
