Part of my struggle is justifying the expense of a $500 BBQ, when a $200 BBQ also grills food.

I'm no expert, so to me a BBQ is a BBQ in terms of cooking.

That said the Weber replacement parts intrigue me. The $98 Walmart special makes me think it'll last until mid-July with the salty winds of the North Atlantic blowing openly off the water onto it.

I guess that's a variable I neglected to mention as it goes without saying living here. The Atlantic Ocean is literally right there.

I'm also debating putting a small deck off the barn out back that I could wheel the BBQ onto to cook, then back into the protection of the barn when finished.

Do any models hold up to salt better than others?
