God that movie sucked. Partly because I was expecting something funny considering it was being headlined by two famous comic actors.
But this is a movie that I hate above all others. Because if its not going to be funny, thats fine, obviously that should be clear as opposed to a surprise.
But the reason I absolutely hated it is because all the meat and bones of a good, interesting story are there and it can be explored, but this movie appears to make a point about missing it.
It could have explored the differences of perspectives to events or how future reactions to family turmoil can be affected by past experiences, there is so much there if you wanted to make a good, serious movie about human experiences.
But nuthin. So yeah, lots of wasted time and potential and overall it was just awful.
