ha - this is my wife to a tee!!
she used to hold up her left hand in front of her with her index finger going up and her thumb pointing to right, making an "L". i guess that worked great until i told her to do the same thing with her right hand, except with that hand have her palm facing her. so yea... now she's back to square one!
