Also a heads up, there are items you can get if you link your game to the mobile game, Animal Crossing Pocket Camp. I did it mainly for the campsite sign, but I've also ended up using the hat more than any other one I've found in the game. This link explains how to do it. If you haven't played Pocket Camp I'm pretty sure you just need to install it and play the tutorial

I got a bamboo island and filled up my inventory with tarantulas without getting bit. Then I'm not back at my home island for 5 minutes before one of those bastards snuck up and bit me.
