After hours of meticulous research, gruelling deliberation and unprecedented physical punishment, (hey, my eyes didn't escape the sacrifice of seeing some truly horrific designs) I am here to present you 15 of the great masks in Calgary Flames history. Will Trefilov triumph over Tabaracci? Can Kidd or Karlsson crush Kiprusoff? Skills, work ethic and clutchness? Irrelevant. This is the great equalizer of all Flames goaltenders across time.
I am going to make 15 separate posts with one goalie mask each. Please "thank" the picture of your favorite bucket. I am going to throw in a bonus section of masks that must be judged seperately for their own era-specific awesomeness. I am going to make a seperate Kiprusoff helmet thread. Basically, I want to give the people what they've want. Hope you all enjoy the thread. If there is a helmet I've left out (this was a very challenging and opinionated list), feel free to post it.
