The 2013-16 alternates had some very good elements. I think the backlash was that (i) the primary crest was the weakest part of the jersey, and (ii) everyone was so sick of the flag jerseys and the alternates had too similar a feel.

I also think the 2011 Heritage jerseys are at least a 5 or 6 out of 10 — a subtle feature was the “felt” cresting which I really liked.
