Yesterday I decided to revisit the late 90s series Millennium, about a former FBI profiler named Frank Black, who works as a consultant on bizarre and horrific cases. It was Chris Carter's second series after the X-Files became a huge success. They even did a crossover episode during season 7 of X-Files where Mulder and Scully enlist Frank to help them on a case.

I forgot how dark and creepy this show was. There are some truly disturbing and grotesque episodes, especially in season 1, which I haven't watched since it first aired way back in the day. Lance Henriksen is terrific in the lead role.

I also really dig the music score.
