He seemed really frustrated with his lack of weapons and protection last year. I'm not sure how much of his decline was related to that.

I think Father Time is always undefeated and that while yes Brady probably had the worst group of weapons he’s had in his career, he’s still 43 and can’t be expected to sling the ball like when he was 33. And Arians system has always been about throwing the ball down the field for chunk plays. Arians is a very good coach though, so I expect he’ll be able to modify his offense to incorporate the things Brady does well.
The one thing people who don’t watch the Bucs (i.e everyone) probably didn’t realize last year was that the Bucs defense was actually really good last year. If Jameis could have kept the turnovers to 25 instead of 40, they probably would have been a playoff team. So Brady really doesn’t even have to play at an elite level, if he plays in the top third of the league they’ll be a threat.
The hope of course is with the best wide receiver duo he’s had since Moss/Welker, plus a pair of good tight ends he’ll be able to produce a throwback MVP season. The offensive line is a concern though, but they still have tons of cap space to improve that. If nothing else the Bucs are gonna be as heavily featured on national TV as they have in 15 years.
